The Land Forum
Seamus is multi-chartered as a Civil Engineer, Geologist and Environmentalist and is a UK registered Ground Engineering Advisor under the RoGEP scheme.
Seamus is past Chairman of the Association of Geotechnical & Geoenvironmentalist Specialists (AGS) and past chairman of the Land Forum (that brings government departments together with expert agencies and industry organisations to discuss issues of brownfield development and sustainability). He remains chairman of the Land Forum''s steering committee delivering the National Quality Mark Scheme for land containment reports.
He was a founding committee member of The Society of Brownfield Risk Assessment (SoBRA) and In Jan 2018 became deputy chair and chairman elect of the CL:AIRE Technology and Research Group.
In 2012 he was named by DEFRA for assisting with the Part 2A statuory revisions and is one of the twelve experts appointed to the government''s National Expert Panel for Land Contamination.
