Lyn heads the Environment and Regulatory team at Shulmans LLP in Leeds. She has specialised in environmental and regulatory law since she qualified (at Nabarro LLP) and she has practised for over 2 decades. Lyn’s practice covers all aspects of environmental law, both contentious and non-contentious. Over her career, she has been involved in diverse cases including nuisance actions and prosecutions but has also worked on major transactions involving businesses that have significant environmental impacts, such as those in the mining, chemicals and rails sectors.
Lyn frequently writes for the press/trade press, and is a regular contributor to seminars. She is rated as a leading environmental practitioner by Chambers and Partners. In addition to her role at Shulmans, Lyn is also a director of YCF (formerly known as Yorkshire Chemical Focus).
