Joanne Kwan

CIRIA

Joanne Kwan manages CIRIA award winning contaminated land programme. Joanne has been involved in over 40 good practice guidance documents, more than 300 training courses, conferences and other types of events related to brownfield and contaminated land.

She was also the project manager of the CIRIA report C733 Asbestos in soil and made ground: a guide to understanding and managing risks, C735 Asbestos in soil and made ground good practice site guide and is the co author of first the asbestos from soil site management aid (APP) in the UK which will be launched in September 2008.

Joanne is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a Chartered Chemist, a Chartered Scientist, a Chartered Environmentalist, a Fellow at the Institution of Environmental Science, a Fellow at the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
